All permanent faculty in the College of Arts & Sciences are required to prepare an annual report in their primary department or curriculum with regard to certain key activities and accomplishments for the Academic Year 2022/2023 (May 1, 2022, to April 30, 2023). If faculty members have secondary faculty appointments in other College units, the managers of those units can link to the annual report completed for the primary unit. These reports are used for a variety of assessment and evaluation purposes within your units; in some cases, to inform donors about your activities; and to inform your chairs’ required report to the College of Arts & Sciences.
Instructions for Accessing the Annual Report:
- Go to: https://car.oasis.unc.edu/car/
- Login with your onyen and onyen password
Contact OASIS with system or access problems.
Details on Stewardship
If you received private funding to support your research, you need to complete a tab labeled “Fund.” The stewardship report to the donor describes how you benefited from the fund and includes information about the fund’s investment performance. Many donors are inspired to make additional gifts after receiving their reports.
